The human need for stories goes beyond the matter of their veracity.

Does knowing we need stories to live by, irrespective of their truth, not suggest a new perspective for how we live our lives?

Released from truth, might we not invent stories adaptive to context?

This is the turn then, telling other stories; one of these new stories might be titled, “From Truth to Reality.”

  2. Pray

Rehearse the patterns in your head.
The weight on your ankle is dead.
You are free to speak your mind.
And express your intentions, cruel and kind.
Get ready for the mythical lot.
And the sound that silences your thoughts .
Shake off your fear and cone undone.
Give yourself as the circle is one.
